It’s been a bit of a jungle on the Omega side of the fence of late, but yea they will be online before long and Swatch are able to churn out huge numbers of watches better than just about anyone so I’m hoping the scalpers get their fingers burned badly.
I contacted the Swatch stores in my country. They don't have the initial release like some of the luckier (or unlucky?) countries. Oh well, i think i just have to be patient. Not gonna pay a single more dime outside retail price for this piece. Super interested in the Moon, tiff blue(i know you want me to type it but NO hahaha) , and Venus (for my wife). The said the earliest model to be sold out at initial launch in Australia was Moon, Saturn, and Mercury.
Just want to share an interesting strap for 1887. (Watch, strap, picture, ig account are all not mine)
Well now, what do we have here! Black Bay Pro is a 39mm GMT, aka the BB58 GMT many have been hoping for.
Hmm. I really quite like this. On the other hand it seems a little derivative - a bit of a mash-up. Will have to see more pics. But a 39mm GMT. That's amazing.
This one doesn't interest me as much as the Pro. Size is the same 41mm as the original BB GMT and I'm not that into the gold. Same feeling about the BB Chrono S&G as well.
„Trop de BB tue la BB“… As @imagwai already pointed out: I feel this is really becoming a bit too derivative
More info on the BB Pro: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-tudor-black-bay-pro It's a "true" GMT, pretty cool for a 39mm package. But as I feared, a bit thick at 14.6mm. Nevertheless, I think this is going to be a hit for Tudor.
How is it possible to make a watch 2mm thick? How thick is the glass? Though clearly not as thin as the Bvlgari that came out recently....
