OT: Cars at the Geneva Motorshow [Warning: No Watch Content]

Had a very enjoyable day at the Geneva Motorshow yesterday and thought I'd post a few car photos for those interested.

As you'd expect, the show is on a huge scale, and even though yesterday was a press preview day, the place was full. The only disadvantage of it being a preview day is that several brands still had their new toys under cloth, waiting for the launch press conference.

Alfa's 4C Spider gets the updated (and much better) headlights.

Maybe not the rear end shot you were hoping for- actually, the 4C looks much better as a coupe.

My first look at the new MX-5..somehow doesn't really work- tyres look too small. Still, will be great to drive

Yeah, they hadn't taken the cloth off the GT3 yet. I did see the Aventador, but to be honest it didn't get my attention- all that effort for only 50 bhp and 50 kilos weight saving? Why bother? 😉

Yes, THE colour at Geneva was this Blue/ Grey flat colour- lots of cars sported this shade. I've added another photo in your post

I've got a real soft spot for the MX-5, but the new one doesn't quite work.

The good news is that Fiat will release their version of the MX-5 soon, to be called the 124. Designed by Alfa Romeo, but made in Japan could mean the best of both worlds

It was going to be an Alfa, but they've changed their minds, so will have Fiat/ Abarth badges, design by Alfa, engines by Alfa/ Fiat but chassis by Mazda and made in Japan
