Hi All - Not sure if I am in the right place to post this (or if I am doing it correctly), can anyone give me some information on this watch. I think it is a Heuer 13.1. other then that I no nothing about it and there doesn't seem to be much info on the web. It is in perfect working order. I have attached a couple of photos. Many thanks Don.

Yep it’s a Heuer reference 13-1 with a Valjoux 7765 from about 1978-80.

It is in the catalogues of the time.

The below link has pictures of the reference 12, which the 13-1 is a variant of, but also shows the 13-1 in a catalogue page.

This is my own 13-1, which is branded Koni and has a white seconds hand instead of Orange like the standard 13-1 (yours).

Thanks dc, I thought it was wearing a little as the brass is coming through, I assume it is best to leave it as it is? I have been struggling to find out info on the 13.1. I purchased it in an auction in Wales a few years ago and I haven't been able to find anything much on the web. Great Forum......😀

As DC for these models it is in excellent condition and there are very few out there which do not have the brass appearing in spots.

Mine was very worn through when I bought it, but found a NOS case for it. In your case I’d leave it as is, as it looks in good condition.

Here’s mine before:

Cracks in the crystal and a chunk out of the bezel area made me re-case it so it could be worn without fear of moisture getting in. I still have the old case as it is part of the watch’s story.
