Hello, Has anyone here not serviced their Tag automatic and not suffered as a result? Also, I am wishing to get info from Formula 1 automatic owners as to how accurate or inaccurate their watch has been. I do have anxiety and would like to find out before I buy. Thank you.
You'll need to service any mechanical watch eventually, but it depends on the economics. If a service is $500 and a full movement replacement is $1000, if your watch can make it 10 years without the timing being negatively affected you'd be fine. Mechanical watches will never be as accurate as a quartz, but checking the time against your phone when you put it on in the morning quickly becomes very routine.
