Any clues what's coming up?
Posting it here since it's another "SM reveal" from this week - although I'm not really sure what to make of it...
So: I received an invitation to a TH event in one of their boutiques, which reads (my translation) as follows:
"The TAG Heuer Boutique XYZ is glad to exclusively invite you to the launch event of our new Carrera collection on Friday, 8th of October".
Anyone else received this? Any clues what's coming up?

Im guessing, just pure guessing though, that there are some new Carrera models coming
Redesign of the Caliber 5 (3-hander) models.
Dunno. In the invitation email they mentioned that they'd bring in a “historian of automobile racing” (something like that). So it sounded more chrono- than threehander-focused to me…
Somehow I’m still convinced that they will eventually come up with some panda versions of the new 42mm H02 Carrera 😕
We can hope - that design isn't great, but it has potential. However I've heard that it isn't selling very well, so TAG may just do what they always do and completely redesign it in another two years or so.

I like the 42mm Carrera design. Apart from the seconds subdial (or lack of it). But maybe it's a little too conservative to stand out. Also, if it's not selling, I think Tag need to look at their pricing. It's considerably more expensive than a Tudor Black Bay Chrono for example.
Some minor updates would be welcomed.
I think I could be swayed by the blue 42mm H02 with white subdials and (obviously) a white rehaut (doesn’t even need to be a tachymeter one). And to make it a true 1153 reinterpretation, just add a splash of color on the chrono seconds hand. Voilà - not that complicated.
Dial lay-out, sizing and caliber are already all fine, IMHO.
