Personally speaking of course, I don't think that strap goes very well with that Monaco. It is a reddy brown and it clashes with the red in the dial and doesn't contrast very well. I think a black strap would work best.
Too bad, I was thinking of zeroing in on this. I also made another render - Mario Kart strap with the Rd Monaco. I'll share that later today.

I mean it's a nice strap, but I just think it overpowers the watch. Sorry.

Boys, need an opinion. Thinking of getting a custom exotic leather strap for the GPMH Monaco. I am intrigued by this strap as this is elephant skin. I made a crude render of the strap with the watch - just wanted to get some views on how this looks. The final strap will be Monaco spec (to fit the deployant clasp). Apologies for the very rough copy/paste job.
I'm with @imagwai, the strap is a bit over the top, especially as the Monaco Historique is already a loud looking watch.

However, given some of your other pairings with your Joker Monaco, you've got your own unique style. So for you, it might just hit the spot.

Not decided yet, might go for a lizard or beaver tail as they give out a consistent pattern. The pic is of course the Mario Kart OEM strap.

Something like that is what I had in mind when I suggested dark red leather with silver stitching (or vice versa).

I was thinking about a red strap, but it's a bit too out there for me. It'll go wonderfully with my Santa costume and the Xmas jumper, but don't think I can wear those all year round 😁

not really, unless it's a nile crocodile or a Himalayan crocodile pattern. I was thinking of getting the Himalayan for my 2001 Monaco CS2113, but it's a bit too albino for me

Dragon skin is pretty cool huh, these days I am not sure if dragon hunting is allowed or if they banned that shit

You'll do purple & green, but red is too out there? LOL. How do you feel about the reverse then, a gray strap with red stitching?

LOL!!! Fair point. I'll try out a simple red strap first to see how it looks, then possibly move to a custom. A grey with red stitching is a good option - didn't think about it.
