Starting to wonder more about the black and white Carrera graphic. Could it be a concept art draft for a new 39mm Carrera "Night Driver"? I mean, it's like no real Carrera that's ever been released.

Pre-ordered Nicholas Biebuyck's book.
I'm going to wait a bit, the pre-order US price of $100 seems a little high. Since it's 83 EURO and 70 GBP in other regions. Strangely, the release dates are different too, Aug for EU, Oct for US and Nov for UK.

Amazon will adjust the price when it ships. The only thing that you're doing, is ensuring that you are part of the pre-order. My credit card was not charged.

Yeah I understand that part. I just want to wait & see whether the price will be adjusted to match the Euro pricing and what the difference is between this book vs. what'll be in boutiques.

The 60th Anniversary Carrera book situation turns out to be relatively simple:

In September, TAG Heuer will publish the "coffee table" book / full version.

At Watches and Wonders, TAG Heuer released a short preview of the book (shown below, with red cover / box), which is approximately 60 pages.

Ok, so he was still writing 1996-2023.... hence the other 324 pages.

This is not correct . . . the short preview volume (approximately 60 pages) provides coverage from the pre-Carreras through the newest Carreras, released in 2023.

Thanks Jeff. So is the TAG Heuer "full version" the same book as Nicholas's book that's available for pre-order on Amazon?

Because if it's the same, there's a chance I might be able to get one from my Boutique, instead of ordering from Amazon.

Oh good, that gives me hope!

Yes, I believe that this is correct.
There is only one full version / coffee table book for the 60th Anniversary of the Carrera. I have no idea how it works in terms of getting set up for Amazon . . . with Nick as the author, TAG Heuer as the author, etc. But there will be only the one definitive book.
