New strap arrived! 😀
It was a surprise to find this brand new strap, because it’s not longer in the TH catalogue... so I couldn’t resist including it in my Modular collection! 😁

Thanks to @mdh518 👍 I’m adding two very special and exclusive straps that were missing in my Modular collection, and that are not available in the AD or TH shops

The pink rubber strap with TH logos is from the Giro d’Italia Limited Edition, only 101 pieces made

And the yellow rubber strap with TH logos is even more exclusive, because it was not for sale to the public. It was made for the cyclists of the BMC Cycling Team, sponsored by TH. Thanks @ddaenen1 for this info, because I didn’t know about this strap made for BMC

There’s a strap from the Connected Modular 45 Red Bull Racing Special Edition (blue calfskin with red stitching) for sale in UK, and it looks like new.

The price is the same as for any standard calfskin strap you can order in the AD, so this is a very good opportunity to get this RBR strap, because it’s not available separately: you have to buy the full set of the Special Edition to get it!

A brand new Alec Monopoly Connected Modular 45 strap arrived today (together with the full set of this Limited Edition) 😀

This is probably the most special strap for the Modular 45, because each of the 300 watches of this Limited Edition comes with one of these white rubber straps hand painted by Alec Monopoly, and each is one-of-a-kind. The 300 straps (mine among them), were mounted side by side on a large board at the Miami TAG Heuer boutique, where the artist finished painting them all at once

If i read this, it still pisses me off that i sold both the pink, red and yellow BMC straps for peanuts 🤔🤔🤔

Don't blame yourself, you didn't know they were produced in such a limited quantity!
In fact these three straps are rarely worn, because they are not exactly discreet! 😁 So they have value for people like me trying to put together the different straps that were made for the Modular 45, but not much for anyone who just wants to have a few of their favorite straps. Of course I would pay more than normal for that red strap with TH logos that I am missing, so I also feel bad that you sold it before I knew it! 😉

The Giro, pink strap, love the colour and the face that matches it. Not seen a better strap face combo in my opinion, also the pink strap looks great with the blackness of my Calibre 5 and 16 heads. It was newly released around my 50th birthday so I knew what I wanted as a present even though it had to be ordered from Italy as it was the only country selling the 101 limited edition.

The Giro, pink strap, love the colour and the face that matches it. Not seen a better strap face combo in my opinion, also the pink strap looks great with the blackness of my Calibre 5 and 16 heads. Very nice, I’m missing the red and yellow straps with logos, if not sold to public however will be very difficult to find.

Yes, they were even more difficult to find than the pink strap with logos, which is already very hard to find because it only came with the Giro d’Italia Limited Edition full set (101 pieces)! So take care of your pink strap 😉 👍

Yes I love the pink strap, I could only buy the watch from Italian ADs , to my knowledge the limited edition set has never appeared for sale second hand. It can be fun also to use two colours for one strap by mixing them. It’s just nice to know it’s one of only 101 and for your yellow and red straps even less.

I love all five, but while the black, the white, and the red exist the same color without logo in the range of standard straps, on the other hand, the pink and yellow have an exclusive color (because the yellow with logos has a different color from the standard yellow), so I like these two even more than the other three because they have an exclusive color, not common to any other strap 👍
