That didn't last very long.
This has the appearance of an intervention. I wonder if Guadalupe got pushed out.

The only speculation that could make a little bit of sense is that LVMH feels that the strategy last experimented by JT at Zenith, which consisted in selling less pieces but for more $$$ per piece, might not be the right one for TH given the upcoming storm…

But then again - bringing a guy from Bulgaria doesn’t seem like the most obvious answer to that problem 👎

But seriously, we already don't know who to blame for the current models, this is making it even harder to understand...

Probably safe to assume the latest models have beennin the pipeline for at least 2-3 years. So I think you know who to point the finger at.

Poor Tornare, after saving Zenith now he receives Hublot punishment.

Zenith's strategy to go upmarket was a good idea IMO, since it would never be a volume seller. I doubt that was the plan for TAG, though right now no watches are selling in volume so the short-term view is to raise prices of course

FWIW the other guy took Bvlgari from a jewelry brand that watch people ignored (aside from the ladies with the Serpenti) to a legitimate player with the Octo. They could've created that watch all thick and shitty and it would've sold just fine but they went ahead and focused on thinness to really execute that watch to the highest level. So, maybe this'll be good for TAG.

Hmm. Yeah maybe we'll get a super thin Carrera for £15,000

That'd be cooler than yet another thick mass-produced pointless tourbillon for the same price, at least

It's also cool that Pin has roots with the original TAG Heuer, having worked there from '94-'98. Prior to LVMH purchasing TAG in '99 and his second stint from 2010-2014.
