Does anyone else have more info on the release date or timing? This post suggests that the watches are already out but other blogs are saying it’ll be launched in June?
They are not out yet. I hope they do come out in June and not get delayed.

Thanks Hubert. I ended up calling a couple of TH Boutiques for more info.

NYC said Sept/Oct and Las Vegas claims that it's on track for June. So let's see.

Any idea on the thickness?

I think SEP/OCT is probably the new target, since all traces of these models have suspiciously vanished from TAG Heuer's website.

I don't believe any details on the thickness were announced; we may need to wait till we approach their official release.

I'm hearing that these won't arrive this year...except for the GMT

I've asked TAG Heuer in the US and was told possibly late-OCT / Q4. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were deferred to 2019.

Hmm, just looks wrong to me, I'll be sticking with my Heuer 01.

None of the 'new' mutant carreras (small c is deliberate) should be allowed to be called Carrera.

Only gold digital Carreras are 'real'.😉

I like the symmetry of the 02 layout, although everytime I see an original 01 in the metal, I really want one.

I'm looking forward to trying an 02 on the wrist, the picture above of the 'regular' one doesn't look amazing and I really liked the dark one, but suspect the one above looks stunning in the metal.

Between the Carbon (CBG2016) left, and the Phantom Ceramic (CBG2091) on the right, which do you like more?

Carbon would be my choice!

I like both, but I would choose the Carbon: this material makes the watch more special and motor racing related, and its dial seems easier to read than the Phantom

Carbon is a better material, but the phantom finish of the skeleton makes it a hard choice.

Yes, I just wish there was a phantom Carbon.

Its funny how, after years of looking at the sceletonized Carreras, I have actually gotten to the point where I could really see myself buying one. The H02 layout makes them even better. They are really cool and would be awesome as a weekend watch
