Can you share a link to this strap? Want to buy an extra strap, but cannot find them on TH site? Cheers!
Click on any Autavia model, scroll down close to the bottom and you'll see all the strap accessories listed. This is the steel bracelet: https://www.tagheuer.com/us/en/timepieces/discover/accessories/no-size/BA0650.html

Before I bought the brown leather strap, I called Tag to ask the same as it's not clear on the site what the lug widths are and which watches they’re meant to fit. She assured me the metal bracelet and leather straps (brown, blue) fit all new "autavia" models with 21mm lugs.

The brown leather strap I posted above matches the stock alligator black supplied. The rep at Tag assured me the 3-link bracelet online should fit as well, I assume as the @abrod520 picture shows.
^^^If what @ArthroBro says is correct, then it seems all the straps/bracelets should work on any Autavia model. I noticed the TH website even shows the 21mm F1 steel bracelet as an option for the Autavia as well, which I think is odd because the Autavia has a unique strap system.

Agree about the F1 strap but I didn’t ask specifically about this one. I wish the website had more detailed descriptions about connecting systems or pictures of the reverse side.

I called around to multiple ADs in my area before buying online and they either had no idea additional straps were available or didn’t sell in person so they just told me to reach out to Tag directly.

This is correct - all of the new Autavias use the new strap system. This includes not just the chrono, but the GMT and other 3-handers as well. So even if it's not available on the TAG site, you can probably order any of the straps or the bracelet from your nearest TAG boutique.

As for the F1 bracelet, probably not - TAG has probably just automatically listed any 21mm strap in the interface. However, since I'll be stopping by 5th to take a look at the Orange Diver today, I'll see if I can verify that if they have an F1 on bracelet in stock.

Yeah oftentimes ADs don't have the full accessories catalog available, but if you call any TAG boutique in your country they will be able to ship to you.

Right, I saw it, but again, as I mentioned earlier, this bracelet has round endlinks, while Autavia has straight pins. Am I missing somehting ?

Sorry, forgot to update this since Saturday was really busy. The F1 bracelet will not fit the Autavia as it works on a standard spring bar system. Putting it on an Autavia would require cutting out the permanent springbars.

However, all of the new Autavias have the same springbars and lug designs and so straps are interchangeable between 3-hander, GMT and Flyback models. This includes the bracelet as well.

I don't understand what you're worried about. Are you talking about where the end-links latch onto the pins? If so, how can you tell they're round? The picture shows the Autavia bracelet from the top. But it must work since it's made for the Autavia, unless you're talking about the F1 bracelet.

Regardless, I think @abrod520 gave you the answer. The Autavia bracelet will fit your chrono. (The F1 bracelet will not.)

Thank you. Ordered one, will keep you posted. As a general comment, I may say that it is quite silly that TH does not sell the croc strap, with which the watch comes.

Thank you. Yes, I talked about the Autavia bracelet, so with this knowledge, I have ordered one 😀

Hello @ArthroBro, here are the pics of the new bracelet. My first impression was that on the croc strap the watch looked "dressier" 😀 , but I am warming up to the bracelet, as its design actually changes the look of the watch. Funny thing, but I bought it for the hotter months, just to preserve the strap 😀 Have no idea why TH does not sell this strap as a replacement, as the straps that are offered do not even remotely fit the style of this watch. as always, IMHO. Cheers!

That's a funny thing with TAG, with the exception of the Monaco they always insist on some sort of dressier gator strap. Shame too, since the perforated leather racing straps they make are really excellent.

Looks good on the bracelet! Well done, bless your silver dial

Happy to be a part of the Silver Dial Church, as this one really shines 😀

I think it looks great! If you really want a spare croc strap, I'm sure your local AD can order one for you. TAG Heuer doesn't show the vast majority of their straps on their website, but I've never had a problem ordering a spare from my local AD.

Called TAG several weeks ago, wanted to buy an extra strap (the same type). The answer was "no". let's see if the situation changes.

That's surprising. Was it a TAG Boutique or just the general number shown on their website? If it was the website number, they might be limited in what they can sell compared to a Boutique or AD.

I'd suggest just calling a local AD and telling them you'd like to order a replacement strap (ref. FC8279) and see what they say. I've never had an issue ordering straps via my local AD, even on very rare Limited Edition models.

Same for me and I tried a local Watches of Switzerland. They only offered to order straps TAG already lists online and back ordered ones online showed the same for the AD.

Congrats again on the strap, looks amazing. Will have to order one soon too.
