Set for its official debut tonight (Sept 14, 2022 at 8 pm Eastern), some press photos have started to leak.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. It's nice, but not all that different from the outgoing model.

Yeah, that looks like just a refresh style-wise. We'll see what's under the skin, if there's anything updated worth looking at in terms of the 5.0

I think I like it…I definitely don’t dislike it. I’m fairly indifferent about the s550, they’re great fun to drive but very dull to look at, like an Audi S5 with a fiesta grill, so maybe this is a step forward

The Dark Horse is the most interesting one, but if I were to get one, I'd probably wait for the Shelby GT350 in a few years.

Agree that it's the most interesting, but I'd like to see the Dark Horse in a lighter color. I'm not sure whether the dark gray plastic underneath the headlights is a better look compared to the GT's front end treatment.

I think the profile and rear end are the car's nicest looking viewing angles.

I suppose the GT4's front end shows what the Dark Horse would look like in white.

Kinda a boring reveal, just looks and vague information. I want to know what improvements they've made to the Getrag gearbox, which doesn't have a great reputation in terms of performance driving

Yeah, not enough info yet. I'd like to know if there's been any weight gain, or weight loss, especially for the Dark Horse in R trim. They did say the Dark Horse has an improved Tremec transmission, which was also used in the Mach 1 and Shelby GT350. Disappointed that Ford stuck with the Getrag for the GT.

As for the rear, it's fine having an angle, but it's too pronounced, making the rear look weak and disproportionate!

Found some pics of the Dark Horse in white. This front end treatment doesn't work for me. It especially ruins the profile, gives it a "horse's mouth".

The angle is what I like about it. LOL

The back is weird. On the upside if you dent it not many people will notice.

Let's compare it against the current generation. Much more proportionate. I like having the angle inwards, but the new rear overall is disproportionate to the rest of the body.

Well, I didn't say I liked it better than the current model. But I think it's ok for this one, they gotta make it different.

Sometimes you have to let it sink in a bit…

I work for Cadillac and hated the new CT5 design when it came out but recently purchased a CT5 V Sport because I thought it was a pretty awesome car. Sometimes changes are a bit much at first but given time sink in.

Overall I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the Shelby GT350. Enjoy yours till then!
