馃榿 But only as a visitor (I was not sleeping there), during a visit to Motorworld Stuttgart. I was in another hotel in Fellbach, closer to the Mercedes-Benz Museum 馃槈

Car looks like a design of something for a sci-fi show, not the best angle to see all the car.

I remember seeing the C112 at a major auto show back in the 90's and I was convinced this was my dream car. I wish they would've gone forward and actually produced them. Not to say I coulda woulda bought one..

It was a concept car, only 6 were made (with different engines, including Wankel and a record-breaker Diesel) and all 6 are part of the Mercedes-Benz Classic collection 馃憤

In 2019 the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart organized an special exhibitiom to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the C 111. This is a good article from that moment, with more pictures:

There's a lot of Honda/Acura NSX styling cues borrowed for that C112. 馃槖

If we're talking Mercedes super cars, I'll take a CLK GTR please.

I was talking about the state of cars in 1991 when I saw them. The C112 just seems to me as a numerical upgrade of the previous C111. Was there ever a C113 or 4?
