Looking at a CAR2A80-0 Carrera Calibre 1887

Morning,

New to the forum and been looking at TAG watches for the last 15 years, finally time....

The style i always liked when they were in production and on display in shops was the black/red leather strap Calibre 17 RS2 (CAV518B / CAV518K Style). I remember asking to look at it few times, was out of my affordability but i loved the colours and style.

I recently spotted a titanium black/red on HandT, i see a few of their watches posted on here, ive booked a viewing of this one:
https://handt.co.uk/products/tag-heuer-carrera-car2a80-0-43mm-pvd-titanium-watch

No box or paper, ok with that if im happy its been verified (anything more i can do to verify it other than inspect it?)
I like the 1887 history and love the watch, being Titanium, black/red and at an affordable price range now for what looks like an immaculate piece. Happy its not the more expensive Calibre 17 as my first TAG.

Questions:
Any feedback on HandT ?
Any observations on the linked watch?
What is the difference in CAR2A80 and CAR2A80-0, assume its a small revision on the original release? (All the -0 i see are around later model 2015 watches).
Anything i should check when viewing?

Cool watch. I have bought two watches from H&T, no problems with either purchase, but I kinda wince when I see the number of highly faked F1s and Aquaracers they have on sale. I would get a written guarantee of authenticity from them and at least if at some point in the future it did turn out to be fake then you would have some comeback. Personally I would be surprised if this was fake. Fakers tend to concentrate on lower priced models as it's easier to sell them (under the £1500 authenticity check on eBay) and just generally easier to sell them in quantity.

Thank you, will see what it looks like next week and ask about the authentication (they show a certificate in the photos that they seem to issue with all watches?)

I do think for the price, getting a 12 month guarantee on the mechanicals and authentication guarantee and ability to view in person in a store before paying, its a good deal.
