Already posted this on one thread but it's relevant here too!

A Tag Heuer Men's Club Japan Special Edition Monaco - released in 2017 and limited to 100 timepieces. Most probably already know but Men's Club is Japanese Male fashion magazine that was first published in I believe 1964--making it one of the longest running fashion mags in Japan. For you Japanese fashion history buffs, Kensuke Ishizu, the "Godfather of Japanese Prep," was an advisor/editor to Men's Club

What is permanent hair?
A perm, a cocktail of unpleasant chemicals deployed to give a “permanent wave” to your hair. I was born in Liverpool, UK which embraced the perm in the 70s and 80s. It was a time to be alive, although by the time I was old enough to want to style my hair, they had sadly gone out of fashion and I went bald in my 20s so if they ever do come back, I’ll never know the joy

Oh a perm.... I am old enough to know what that is, I just never equated a 'perm' to 'permanent hair'

Look what just came. CW2114 Monaco Python Italy LE of 230.

@Aquagraph Rob, a correction for your page.
Congrats bruh! But I don't understand, isn't the CW2114 the same ref as the standard version of this watch? And why does it look like someone did the ITALY engraving at home at the kitchen table, was this an official release together with TAG? Always great to learn more about these cool rare versions

Honestly the regular and the numbered are the exact same watch, except for the inscription at the back. I've got both now so a side by side is here. I think someone at TAG at the time thought of wooing the Italians so decided to repackage the CW2114 as a limited edition. The first time got to know about the limited edition was when someone was selling one for €5000 from Italy. My first reaction was why - then I noticed the case back.

That is a pretty cool find, fair play!

Amazing that you didn’t just find a new one, but a matching pair to forever link to your mate who helped you find them.
Yeah this was really great, we had both been searching for a few years!

This is so nonsensical.

Looks like the Italian watch spent its life in the sun, dial looks faded?
Its not actually faded. It seems so due to the combination of the lighting and the fact that the glass is scratched. These Monacos were plexiglass, so prone to damage.

It's here and it's great!

@Hubert i may have missed the threads as been away. But how do you find both the new pieces? Side by sides or reviews anywhere? Did you also manage to get the WoS Ltd Ed also?
