After this photo, I came across this article on WUS about the Russian LE (https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/cw5140-limited-edition-russia.343485/#post-2552681).

It seems that TH was playing fast and loose with different models with limited editions being engraved on existing models. Another example I came across of the same model number in normal & limited edition is the Monaco Python CW2114. The exact same model was a standard production, but TH also released a 230 piece LE for Italy - same model number as the standard model. Presently a piece is on sale on C24 for EUR 4050.

And two people have 41/50.... weird.
... and bought the Russia LE in US!?!? Kind of puzzling. Possibly they made US LE for Russia too, to celebrate some Cold War anniversary 😁😁

It is entirely feasible that an LE made for Russia was bought a) a tourist, or b) sold by the original buyer to an overseas buyer.

Watches move around the world very easily.

Apparently the Russuan LE was bought from a US Tag store. That's the intriguing part. Also that someone claimed that the same number was also available in the Las Vegas store. The point of course is that there's a Russian LE out there!!!

I think this is another one of those.... I tried this watch on in a TAG Heuer boutique in 2019 and I can't believe I wouldn't have noticed that. Plus they were trying to sell it to me, I'm sure they would have pointed it out.

However this photo taken from C24 seems to have something blurred out...

Looking at this again, the blurring doesn't go far enough to blur out the text on the other example, I'm sure not all of these are Russian LEs

Probably bought from an outlet, I think @Aquagraph has commented on seeing location specific LEs at Bicester

Possibly, though I've also seen a 100pce 'Oxford Street' Carrera in an AD in Northampton. I think if they don't sell out in a timely manner they take them out of the flagship stores and offer them to ADs, out of sight kind of thing.

This dial must be quite interesting in real life, especially for those who appreciate jade. (But it's not my kind of thing.)

I stand by my rating. Not good.

This is actually part of the Cortina Watch Golden Jubilee consignment. Cortina dropped major collab releases with PP, FM, HMC, etc. and this Carrera is actually the most "affordable" (read as cheap!!) collab on offer. More details below.

There you go, just goes to show that the renders aren't always worse than the watches IRL.

New release, still can’t understand why TAG Heuer won’t release this panda looking dial in their standard collection.
