Never come across a Sultan of Oman model. That's why I was curious how unique this piece is.
What makes it a Sultan of Oman model other than the description? Looks like a normal CS3140 to me.
I think what it's saying is the Sultan of Oman wore such a watch (the original Heuer) back in the 60's, but yes the re-edition being sold looks like a typical TAG Heuer CS3140.
Yeah I think this is one that has a khanjar on the back? Think I have read about it before but otherwise its just a CS3140 with some engraving done.
I take back what I said, @PhillipDB is right. I found these references to the watch, the re-edition was apparently made for the Sultan of Oman circa 2000/2001.

This is what the case back looks like on the one I'm looking at. Apparently the Sultan had these commissioned and he gifted them to people.
Seems like quite a rare piece.
