·Never come across a Sultan of Oman model. That's why I was curious how unique this piece is.
What makes it a Sultan of Oman model other than the description? Looks like a normal CS3140 to me.

·I think what it's saying is the Sultan of Oman wore such a watch (the original Heuer) back in the 60's, but yes the re-edition being sold looks like a typical TAG Heuer CS3140.

·I take back what I said, @PhillipDB is right. I found these references to the watch, the re-edition was apparently made for the Sultan of Oman circa 2000/2001.

This is what the case back looks like on the one I'm looking at. Apparently the Sultan had these commissioned and he gifted them to people.
Seems like quite a rare piece.

Hard to know the exact number made. I'd guess a fairly low number, perhaps no more than 10 or 20 maybe. 😕

·I think this is another one of those.... I tried this watch on in a TAG Heuer boutique in 2019 and I can't believe I wouldn't have noticed that. Plus they were trying to sell it to me, I'm sure they would have pointed it out.
