After my visiting the Tag outlet store in York today, I have come to the conclusion that many limited edition watches are not very desirable.

While looking around, trying to decide if I liked the carrera flyback enough to to spend £3300 on one of those, rather than on a Jack 80/81/Calibre 17 (I dont, so I didn't), I had a bit of a look to see if there was anythign else that caught my eye. Without really paying too much attention, Im fairly sure that I saw the Hong Kong edition carrera from the first page of this thread, the Macao edition carrera and the Aquaracer with the Diver Below flag that came up a month or two back. There were also a few others that I didnt specifically take in, as I dont really pay much attention to the Formula 1 and Link models. All of the above were very well priced, if you'd wanted the watch in question, which makes me doubt if these are worth any sort of premium on the secondhand market. (Jack 80 being the obvious exception).

The other watch that they they had in which was vaguely interesting was a monaco with bolts at the corners holding the movement in place (calibre 36?), marked down from £10k to £5k

You've got PM 😀 Any thoughts on the above? I was very surprised to see this many of the special editions all in one place.

Yes, is a bit surprising. I like the LEs not because I think they'll always be worth more (they might be), but because an Aquaracer 500m with a slightly different dial makes the watch more unique.

Not all countries have TH Outlets, so not sure if they ship watches in from other markets?

Yeah granted, if I was into diving, the Aquaracer with the dive flag would be a pretty nice one to have.

True since I have the Aquaracer in the very first post of this thread that I bought in Las Vegas and was told that it was initially offered in Australia...LE of only 100 pieces.

Here is my first contribution to this forum. This is a picture of the Indy 500 100th Anniversary Carrera watch that I saw at the Miami store. I was there purchasing a Connected and only had my cell phone to snap a picture with. This was watch # 27 of the 100 that will be made. You can click on the picture and zoom for a better view

^ Not sure if Japan's special edition can be made available elsewhere.

Check this store on the bay: http://stores.ebay.com/Ukeroo/_i.html?_fsub=662982419

It's in Japan, and they often have limited editions. A Baja is currently listed.

Only thing about it, not enough details and photos about the watches they list, and no possibility to make an offer.
