·I do like Bamford but my goodness, a Bamford Watch Department watch is not something you want under macro. I know we buy these watches for brand, design, prestige and marketing ("heritage") but is this shit really ok at this price point?? A Bamford custom Monaco is currently priced £7500 which translates to about $9200.

I guess I kind of knew the finishing on these custom dials wouldn't be as good as OEM. Similar to wrapping a car? I suppose the point is that you're getting a unique one-off piece that's designed by you, though.

·They've got a launch party going on tomorrow evening downtown, and based on the teaser I figured I'd go check it out. But with that photo, I'm thinking it may not be worth it... Interesting idea to use the Yacht-Timer as inspiration, and interesting execution but I don't think it quite works

While the color scheme might not be fore me, I do like how Bamford has gone with a more traditional 3 sub-dial layout. It's also interesting how the sub-dials look completely flat. Not sure if that detail is something I like or dislike, but it's different.

·This one’s a bit boring for my taste, but a collab is all about capturing the combination of both sides. This is clearly a Rowing Blazers style, so a success nonetheless.
