I think okay for a guy as long as you stick with the bracelet, the textile strap might look a bit too feminine
The Carrera WAR2414 I bought the missus recently DSC01903.JPG DSC01904.JPG How do I get photos to appear in the post instead of links?
Recently I have spotted a couple of watches that have really drawn my eye, only to find that they are branded as ladies watches. The fact that it is labelled as ladies doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but is there anything different about them that would need to be considered. For example, do they come with a different size bracelet to the equivalent men’s watch size? Or are they literally the same watch but just stylised to what the brand thinks is more to a female taste? Anyone on here wear the opposite sex watches?
Maybe you're talking about the 36mm Carrera? Been tempted with this myself. I don't really know about the bracelets, but I would assume you wouldn't have a problem getting it to fit, unless your wrist is especially large. I don't know what else could possibly be different.
That is similar to one I have seen, although another one is actually slightly larger than that. We’re not talking hugely smaller than the current trend of men’s watches. I guess my question may be tainted by being a cyclist and they do ladies equivalents of road bikes with almost exactly the same geometry, but they come with different finishing kit, like shot meter cranks or narrower bars for example. Hence my query on the bracelet. My 6.5” wrists aren’t huge, so my assumption is I should be ok. Whilst typing this, that combo above is really drawing my eye. Definitely drawn to rose gold hands and indices, no question about it.
Have seen this online but unsure how it looks on the wrist. It’s at the top end of the ladies sizing at 39mm. Mostly matt or polished? Anyone seen it?
Good, it is important to mark towards @bpsmith that he is interested in ladies watches and such shall only be discussed in one place
Yeah, I would check on the bracelet length for sure. Jim wanted to buy a 36mm phantom Carrera from Bicester once and I couldn't get it over my hand to try it on.
