Is this real, fake or franken?

A bit of a minefield those Heuer watches. You could scan the 40s or maybe 50s references over on OTD. The dealer doesn't mention a reference number which is odd. 36mm was pretty massive in the 40s but will be quite small today. I wonder if that includes the crown. It has decent lug presence so might be alright on the wrist. Attractive watch, regardless if it's authentic Heuer.

So it seems. Yeah that dealer seems to have a selection of "questionable" watches. I wasnt really considering buying it, was more curious about its authenticity, or lack there of. Trying to educate myself more on these Heuer chronos. That dealer also has this watch that I posted a while back..clearly a franken..
