IMG_4865.JPG IMG_4866.JPG IMG_4867.JPG IMG_4872.JPG IMG_4873.JPG IMG_4874.JPG I recently inherited this watch. I'm not sure how to maintain it. I've seen similar hands on descriptions of the 50s line so I've tried to start there. The back fell off so I've managed take pictures of just about everything.

None of the numbers seem to bring up anything.

I know you guys have to be sick of ID requests so I really appreciate anything!

Hi. You may have a reference 1806, as in the advertisement, or at least in the same family.

It was Heuer's 90 year anniversary watch, launched in 1950.

The L&K stamped on the case indicates a US cased watch. The movements were imported to the USA and built up into watches by stores and dealers so as to avoid import duties on Swiss watches. L & K is Lutringer & Kammerer, a watch case maker in New York City.

I think the movement is a hammer automatic design by A Schild.

    Hope this helps :)
