Yes, fair to say that Fred looks a little different these days- here he is after a visit to the McLaren approved barber back in '07. ...and his Limited Edition Aquaracer Calibre S (Ref. CAF7113) He does have an existing deal with a brand called Viceroy, but you'd expect that he'll be a TAG Heuer driver again, especially as next year is the 30th anniversary of the McLaren relationship.

Just saw this today; this has to be Alonso, right? https://plus.google.com/111701897934209887379/posts/jZV2qWdWZXx
I hope so....there are a couple of new non-sporting ambassadors in the pipeline, but Alonso makes sense, given the new McLaren-Honda will be launched next week
Yes, it has to be. The timeline also matches. Let's see if there are any interesting McLaren special editions for 2015.
Yeah, I saw this earlier, but I still think Alonso will be the big brand ambassador to come. My thought was the announcement would happen around the McLaren Jerez test event.
Looks like McLaren launch may be without the final livery/ sponsors...here is a photo of Alonso..no TAG Heuer logo- yet. We have: - Honda - Mobil - SAP - Pirelli - Johnnie Walker - Segafredo
wow, sad state of affairs for F1 when one of their top teams with one of the top drivers can't fill a fire suit. Mr. E will probably blame the beard!
Viceroy is still listed on his homepage as official sponsor, alongside Oakley. I believe it is the result of a microwave blend of fake Hublot & Audemars.
Well that could explain why we haven't seen something by now. There might be ongoing contract negotiations. We'll just have to wait and see.
Wow. Not sure what to say I assume with all of this heritage/ retro/ back to the future theme, we'll be seeing a red and white McLaren Honda on the grid in a few weeks, even if the test livery is black. dc
