Now my older straps are more than two years old, but they all still seem new 👍, so we can confirm that TH rubber straps are better than B&R rubber straps 😉

I store most of them in 12 original strap boxes:

with five of the rubber straps taking turns in the official display:

I have more straps than boxes, so all leather straps have its own box

but rubber straps are stored two by two in their boxes

I just wash them from time to time with hand soap and water, brushing them with an old toothbrush.
This is the older of my rubber straps, more than 2 years old, and it looks like the first day:

and as flexible and soft as the first day. No signs of cracks at all 👍

Yes, from the BMC cycling team! It’s also missing in my Modular collection. I found the yellow rubber strap with logos from the BMC team, but not the red one. I guess it’s also very difficult to find...

Yes, it’s a good idea to buy one (or more 😁) of these smartwatch heads only we can find for sale, just to swap them if our current one has battery or screen problems (it’s cheaper than repairing it, or than buying a complete watch).

I found on eBay a brand new smartwatch head only (titanium case with black ceramic bezel) still with the blue stickers, and I keep it stored -with battery charged at 80%- as a spare head unit. I’m using the other three smartwatch heads (another titanium case with black ceramic bezel, the full black titanium/ceramic Kingsman case, and the Alec Monopoly titanium case with silver steel bezel), so I hope to enjoy the collection -not only with the mechanical modules- during many years 👍

That’s an interesting project 😀 You could name it #connectingtoeternity 😉
If you want to put a chonograph movement inside, then you will need to make two extra holes for the chrono pushers... on a titanium case. Not easy but challenging 👍
