Good afternoon all.

With the imminent arrival of the 160th Silver & Montreal Carreras I need to ‘extend the garage’.

Currently have too many for the box, but the older / less worn ones get kept in the box they came in.

I'm toying with the idea of commissioning a bespoke one. Issues with trademarks and copyright may need to be addressed - but not sure it will be a problem on a ‘one off’. I can’t find any kind of legit/endorsed collector’s boxes online.

So what inspiration should I use for a TH themed watch box, given that the majority are Heuer Heritage?

Suggestions for materials, themes, (not sure if i’ll be able to use logos). Any inout welcome.

Bring on the ideas folks!
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

That's an interesting idea, you could reach out to Aaron Bespoke and see if he can customize a box.

For the older unworn ones, why not offer them for sale - maybe someone else will enjoy wearing them!

i already found a maker. Design is almost finished.
Re unworn. Part of reason they are less (not unworn - and sentimental So will not be sold) Is accessibility. So having them all in one box will help with that.
I’m actually quite surprised there’s no

Calibre 11/ TH colab on a 160th Anni collector's box. Seems like a no brainer.

but that’s what I’m planning anyway.

I made this vintage Heuer "tribute" box myself for my Monaco. Just for fun. 😀

If it were me, I'd give the same treatment to a larger watch box. I'd try to find one in red or paint one red. Then add the checkered flag stripe and requisite Heuer logo(s). 😁

Any ideas folks?

materials (wood, carbon fibre)
Colours (TH vs Heuer)
Labelling on the exterior (Logo vs foundation year)?

Anyone got a connection at TH legal Dept that could arrange a license so that the correct logos could be used?

Thanks.

You could try and register for a TAG Heuer media account and then you would have access to all sorts of digital material.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll certainly look into that. Should he having a ‘zoom’ with the box maker sometime next week. I’ve sent over some design ideas for him to mull over.

I was thinking a bit more about materials.....

Carbon fibre would be awesome but would also be pretty expensive and would also limit your choice of box makers.

For the interior, I think I would pick Alcantara as I associate that with high-end sports cars/super cars.

Oh yes! CF that’s a good idea! might be challenging given the size and shape I have in mind, but I’ll certainly enquire.

Alcantara. That’d be a great contrast to the leather interior as a lining for the inside top.

I’ll try to get some time to post up some ideas soon. Thanks for the feedback.

Much appreciated.

Check out @heuervintage on IG.

Yup, that's the kind of thing I was talking about. But I think @THJunkie is going in a different direction, very interested to see how his project turns out.
