Is this line now a "thing of the past'?

Can't fined any mention of it on UK TH website. I've been away from the brand for a while - not kept up to date so - but none of the re-issue models what used to be listed under that sub-brand are there anymore. Surprised not to see mention of the very imminent 160th Anniversary Carrera 160 Years Silver LE.

I'm sure it has been mentioned, so apologies if this is a noddy question. But have the ditched that line altogether? I notice a few are bundled I with the general model range pages. But far fewer than a year or so ago.

Thanks.

That's interesting, I'm getting a 404 "page not found" error at tagheuer.com when searching for the 160th.

Yes, I am wondering the exact same thing! The heritage line on the Canadian site is completely gone. I wonder with this new CEO if TAG is going to completely focus on the ‘younger’ and ‘hip’ stuff instead....

Technique Avant Garde. I guess they want to set the trend, not follow it.

That said, they'd be mad not to do something that nods to the illustrious Heuer history.

To be honest, the Heuer Heritage is what keeping me enthusiastic & interested, to follow and stay with TAG Heuer / Heuer. I'd love to see more re-editions which gives recognition to the past with technologies and packaging of the present. I'm not really an "authentic vintage watch" kinda guy. Soon these chronographs will be "vintage" in their own right, some time into the future with lots of TLC. Given that it might not be the direction of TAG Heuer, I'd still be here and pledge my loyalty and passion to Heuer / TAG Heuer 🥰

I'm not so sure this represents a change of direction. If I remember correctly, the "Heritage Collection" on the Tag Heuer site only contained the Monaco anyway as a current model. And the Heuer-branded Monaco is still very much on the website under the "Monaco" collection. So I think they've just tried to make it easier to find specific watches.

Not sure about the other countries but the Canadian site did have a dedicated Heuer Heritage page. Autavia 02, Monza, Monaco Calibre 12 etc were all listed there. I have sold pretty much all of my TAG collection over the last couple of years due to shifting my focus to dive watches but was about to pull the trigger on the Carrera anniversary edition until it sold out in 10 seconds. If I was the new CEO and I have said this in the past, split TAG into two. Focus on in-house movements for the Heuer line ie Autavia, Carrera etc and third party movements for their TAG line ie Aquaracer, F1 etc. I bet TAG would bring back some lost clientele.

snap. I can’t comment as I have no idea how profitable the line was. But all I can say is they my spend with the brand is massively down in the absence of any reissues. Maybe it id a small niche and may not warrant attention going forward. If so then fair enough and adios, it’ll be what it’ll be. On the meantime there’s the 160 to look forward to. If I’m buying a modern bling watch with innovation I’ll go Hublot. (Cause they make better straps) ::rimshot::

i can only speak of experience in oast 2 years, but I know it had various Carreras, Monaco and Monza there from time to time,

I noticed a while back (beginning of the year I think) that in the UK it was gone, but was in watch buying hiatus and like any recovering addict keeping well away from enablers at the time. Though to be honest for this addict - TH is a bit like alcohol free beer at the moment, Just does not hit the spot. (New release wise). Until I spotted the photos of the heritage reissue carrera on here. Ffs!

Anyone heard any updates on when this will hit ADs? The watch industry must have better product secrecy than Apple or be absolutely atrocious at supply chain comms. We’re 1/2 way through the previously announced release date and no news.

If the youngster can do one thing to improve things, then communication with customers should be top of his list!

Tis a ‘buyers market’ at the moment so they’ll risk losing sales I fear.
