Heuer Autavia 2446M… is it a Jochen Rindt or not?

Hi, I've been directed here from the Omega Forums page with a question regarding the movement in my Autavia 2446M. Basically, is it accurate to describe it as a Jochen Rindt model when it has the movement shown (as opposed to the predominantly silver one)? Is it even the correct movement for a 2446M?

I have never seen a Heuer movement like that I'm afraid. The bridge looks reprinted and the part colours are incorrect for a Heuer V72, so I suspect this was from another brand and a 'new' bridge made for it.

I think I'm right in saying the sweep hand isn't correct for this model either, it should have a thinner tail.

Sorry. I could be wrong of course so happy for others to chime in.......

ps I realise I didn't actually answer your initial question! As far as I know, the consensus is that the 'Rindt' 2446 did have the minutes bezel such as yours, hence 2446M should be correct. Either way, the points above still apply though. Thanks, Steve

Original post was from July 2018, so I'd say he's either bought it or turned it down by now 😲
