I agree, this is a watch that just like the original is striking on the track, in the boardroom or at the beach.

I think a few of us have the Calibre 18 Telemeter. And anyone else have a CS3110? I think maybe one other.

I just recently added the neo-vintage CS3110 to the line-up. I wanted to go with a 2447D or T but decided to go with something a bit more modern for the moment.

How do the owners of both the 160th and the CS find the two compare to each other?

My CS3110 is away for service at the moment so I've not been able to do any in-hand comparison or side-by-side photos. Obviously, the CS3110 wears a little smaller but they're not dissimilar watches. The CS3110 requires handwinding and is quieter and more refined than the noisy automatic winding of the Heuer 02. No display back. It "feels" more vintage. The silver dial of the CS3110 has a slightly more silvery-white hue compared to the 160th starburst grey, and obviously the CS3110 has the blue minute track and no "Carrera" on the dial. However, they are both well proportioned, classic looking, Carreras. I'd wear the CS3110 if I wanted to go more elegant, and the 160th for slightly more wrist presence, but to be honest, the 160th can pull off both quite easily.

Will I keep both watches? Not 100% sure, but there's something about the CS3110 and it's manually-wound movement, and the fact it's nearly vintage itself, that I can't resist.

Thanks, would love to see a side by side once you have it back from the spa.

I leaned towards the CS3110 for the actual case size and thickness and the tritium lume...sucker for vintage ha! Also agree that the manual wind movements have a nostalgic essence and I'm drawn to that. I have good size wrist at 6.7" but enjoy smaller 35-36 mm cases up to 42 mm depending on the lug length, thickness and dial layout.

Looking forward to that photo 😀

Can we have a show of hands who has the 2020 WOTY TAG Heuer / Heuer Carrera 160 Silver? 😀 Just to see and get an idea how well it is accepted in the TH enthusiast community. 👍

I might miss out on some owners so please forgive me.

Charlie was asking how many we have in the forum now, I think the Ice King still has a good lead on the Dato. Now we can add @ngo516 to the list!

Yeah but you know the forum owns 9/1860 Ice Kings, which is 0.5%. Of the Black Prince we own 7/250, which is 2.8% 😎

It’s such a good watch. I may be an optimist, but I’m thinking that many more than the people on this list have one.

I have a feeling the vintage guys also have a piece of the Carrera 160 Silver 👍 The Heuer Carrera 2447S is considered to be the OG design concept of Jack Heuer and also considered as a “holy grail” among collectors. If you want a sure classic, iconic & timeless Carrera, then this is the truly one to get ::psy:: It isn’t called “Ice King” foe nuthin 😉

Thanks @kappa_md
Yes I can confirm that I have one coming.
The deal I was able to do was just too good to not go ahead.
I had my eye on the White Panda dial 44mm LE Carrera but went with ice king instead for not much more $$$.

When it arrives I will add to the List .
