Help with heuer 11630

hee guy!

Im New here. Been always a rolex guy but last time very intrested in vintage heuer. I bought a project and looking online for a subdial hand but it is really hard too find. I looked at almost all the online markets and co contacted a lot of vintage heuer watch makers. The only option Till now is back to you Tag heuer in Zwitserland. But i want the watch serviced by a friendly watch maker. So is er some one how can help me here?

Keep your eyes open and maybe one will turn up. Or you could buy another 11630 in worse condition, for parts. It'll take a while; compared to Rolex Heuer made very few watches and so parts aren't easily obtainable

That may be what already happened to this watch. Another possibility could be to look for other brands with chrono-matic movements like the Hamilton I'm wearing today which has what look to be identical white sub-dial hands (Nota Bene actual length not checked). But they are much scarcer even than Heuers and not that much cheaper.

There was a post on Chronotrader a couple of years ago selling a lot of 11630 parts including hands that had been replaced at TAG-Heuer. Perhaps a message to that poster asking whether the replacements were identical to the originals would give information on what original parts are available at La Chaux-de-Fonds for service. Or even ask TH Vintage Restoration directly -- for the price they charge I hope they would respond.

Afther a long search i have send te watch to scorpione in Maastricht. Hee had a subdial from a cal 12 that will fit. I hope it looks ok . The watch also gets a fresh glass and service i post the Pics when hee is back
