·Have what I think to be a 1500 but can't find anything on the refrence number (I think the reference number) 955.706G. Can not find anything with "G" in it. Any help would be appreciated thanks
That is a little unusual- do you have a shot showing the dial? 955.706 is the correct reference for a bi-metal 1500, but, as you'd know, most don't have a letter after the numbers. I'm also not too sure about that caseback.
Where did you buy the watch?
M Mark_85I can confirm it is a correct model. As the updates went 955.706D, 955.706G, 955.706G-2. Which is a WD1121/D, WD1121/G & WD1121/G-2 in current serial number form
Thanks Mark- it's the only series I can recall with that reference format?
Plus, the pattern background on the engraving of the TAG Heuer logo is unusual for the 1500- quite different to the 2000/4000/6000

Thank you both for your info, it have been very helpful! Any idea on why the backing may be different? Also maybe a year on it?
