I need help to identify Heuer chronograph
Boy, these "Monza" editions just keep showing up lately
Thank you HoltzPlatz !
This one is from the mid-1930s. The earlier ones had a monopusher (the chronograph pusher being incorporated into the crown), but yours has a single pusher for start / stop / reset. This one is circa 1935, and everything appears to be correct.
You can see more of these here -- http://www.onthedash.com/watches/monopusher-cushion-case/
I would love to see more photos of this one and perhaps add it to OnTheDash.
Thank you Jeff!
Dial looks amazing. A service and simple clean-up should do wonders for this watch. Very nice.
Wow came up beautifully - well done
Nice save myk!
But what happened to the lumed hands?
Hands was't lumed.It was paint.
So, leave it as is? Or repaint the hands might be in the plans? Then there's the hour numbers too. Tough call as it would be just fine as it is.
