Yup. I posted about the Autavia here: https://tagheuerforums.com/threads/films-tv-media-heuer-tag-heuer.111250/page-15#post-1770217
Yes, Juan Carlos Ferrigno is a great artist and a friend of mine He is from Argentina but lives in Barcelona since many years ago. He has won several prizes in motoring art contest. I think he is not posting the prices in the website, but you could send him an e-mail asking for it. I’m sure he could also paint some smaller painting for you, just tell him the size you want, and which car This is the e-mail address you can find in his website: info@jcferrigno.com
More nice Gulf Racing paintings by Juan Carlos Ferrigno: And these two are really huge, almost 4 meters long! 356 x 130 cm (on four canvases) 371 x 130 cm (on five canvases)
In fact is an Aquaracer Gulf Monaco, if you look inside the Gulf logo … but it doesn’t look bad as a wall clock
I noticed that too. But there's nothing Monaco about that clock to me, other than the borrowed Gulf stripe motif. I think the Gulf logo should've had "Aquaracer" instead.
For some reason everything I have tracked for Gulf colors just has not pressed the button…until I stumbled upon this Omologato Derek Bell 500. Very nice and with a Miyota quartz movement it is very accurate. Best, M.
I’ve been missing around here (well Calibre11) for a while and come back to this awesome thread. I’m a sucker for all things Gulf. My cars are all Blue or Orange, but even that’s trumped by my mate’s Mono and Caterham in full Gulf colours Recently bought a 6ft petrol (gas) station canopy section to go on my garage wall which when backlit is going to be rather cool. Got a couple of watches in the collection that are Gulf-esque too. Took this pic of 1976 Tyrrell F1 at historic racing last year here in Dubai. The last of the F1 cars sponsored by Gulf.
