Remember to post in the silver thread if you find good photos 😝
Doesn't seem to be much info on these watches. A couple of reviews, but nothing on the Longines UK site and I only see $ prices advertised.

Looking good man!

I am a humble man but I think that all the praise should go to me though. I am obviously a strap trend setter. I think I will buy a couple more color... sorry Rob, I mean colour alternatives of the distressed leather, damn comfortable and looks good.

It's called 'English' for a reason. Unfortunately, with the advent of microsoft et al, I fear we will eventually drop the 'u's in favour of Yank speak.

See, this is what I'm talking about, favour should not have a red line under it 🤬🤬🤬

Thanks @imagwai
Two Geckota straps came in today. A dressy quick-release distressed leather and an oil dirty cognac racing strap.

They both appear to suit the watch very well - you'll have a hard time choosing. I think this watch, with the daytona rings, was made to go an a rally strap personally, though.

You hate vintage-style watches but demand an old-fashioned spelling convention...

Old fashioned? It is simply correct English.

Old fashioned? It is simply correct English.

And the design ethos of the original Heuer Carrera and Autavia was simply correct watch design.

So then, let's consider American English the post-1990s, 44mm asphalt-dial red-accented skeleton "avant-garde" version of English - surely then Rob will accept it 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜

How about we agree on... Both born in the past. But still as correct today as they ever were?

So many unnecessary letters in the right-hand column... may as well be French 😝

I see now that most times Microsoft tells me I am spelling something wrong it is cause you Brittish folk have tricked me with your spelling. In school we learnt Brittish English so it has been tough re-programming the brain for some of these words.

Ffs... 🙄 Maybe I should go crazy and write in Swedish all the time. In the Connected forum it seems like half the members write in Spanish and French so maybe we can have a 'local language is OK rule here too' 😁

I'd be very careful where, wear, were to enter a spelling bee these days. I'm still trying to remember the correct spelling of the notice we see in airports lately. CANCELED or CANCELLED. I see both all the time... And pelease hold off on the Swedish language. We don't want to irritate the Finns. Oh my!
'local language is OK rule here too'
This works for me, gracias bitteschön

Half of my work team is in the UK, half in the US. Then I come here and get even more confused. It's no wonder my English is all mangled up! 😵‍💫
