I wonder if Mr Murray is planning on taking another run at Le Mans with this race beast?

It's a fan which does the same job (and better) than lots of trick aero.

Murray designed a similar system for a Brabham F1 car way back when. There is a good video on Top Gear's YouTube channel where they interview Gordon Murray and he explains how it all works whilst walking atound the car itself. The road-going version anyway.

GMA must have licensed the name of Niki Lauda to christen this new masterpiece under his honor. Gordon Murray built cars for Brabham when Lauda was then F1 racecar driver. 25 LE cars to 25 GP wins 👍 Each one unique in its own way. Can’t wait to see automotivr reviews and tracktests on this NA HyperCar by GMA ::psy::

Ah, I figured they would't put some kind of gimmick on a car like this. I guess I just wasn't familiar with the original inspiration.
Got it now!

Here are nice videos looking at the detail and breakdown of the car. Bold claims but no real world or third party tests done so far. I wouldn’t doubt it from the minds behind F1’s most successful racecar, McLaren-Honda MP4/4, legendary Mclaren F1 roadcar and now this GMA T50 + Niki Lauda 👍 (credits to Engineering Explained)

There was nothing "Niki" about the car to me, until I saw the fan. I instantly recognized it from the '78 season. After Niki won in the fan car's maiden race, the FIA quickly outlawed its use.
