I’m a new “ enthusiasts “ here. I’ve recently purchased the blue formula one quartz as a weekend watch to wear. Once I’ve installed it my wrist I was not able to take it off for any reason...
Is It a popular watch ???

Welcome and congratulations on your purchase. The F1 line is a popular starting point for many of us TAG Heuer collectors.

Not being able to take a priced watch off one's wrist is not uncommon for a true enthusiast.

So enjoy it and I hope it becomes the first of many, to start your collection.

Welcome to the club!
I don't know the actual statics, but I'm sure the F1 must be Tag Heuer's best selling watch of all time. From its inception in the '80s to the latest generation of today. I own a first gen, third gen and current gen. 😀

Welcome to the Formula 1 Club! It's a cool watch with an interesting history. I've got the 2015 quartz chronograph myself and I really like it!

Do you still have the original battery from 2015 ? Or did you replace it ?

If I had “known” , I was going to be addicted to my watch. I definitely would of grabbed the “automatic “ for a few more bucks...

Mechanical movement in that price segment makes no sense to me. Worst case you have to spend like 50% of what you paid for the watch to get it serviced within 3-7 years depending on luck.

This blue and orange version is so good looking. Almost regret not picking that one up instead of my red bull chrono actually... Well well, luckily I can always get both
