'Jeff Stein.....There were no Carreras with contrasting dials / registers in the period 1963 (when the Carrera was introduced) to 1966. I’m guessing they tried to imitate a vintage plexi look. Here some pics of my Arsa with a rounded plexi. However no distortion.
