Ah, too much ? - you can see why i was threatened by a stranger... It's a goldy looking 2000 by strange coincidence. I'm guessing ( being new to the ... (scene?) ) and obviously having no idea, it's a box of bits thrown together by the ebayer i bought it off. It represents the 2000 in my collection and i quite like it - probably force patina'd but hey-ho. Gotta be honest and admit i can't afford more expensive examples with authenticated paperwork so it ain't gonna be pretty. In fact i'm guessing your F1 is probably the only genuine TH in there, more by luck than judgement.
Ah, good... I'm glad you said that. The two on the left look promising, the two on the right not so much, the 'Kirium' is fake for sure and the 4000 looks a bit odd, certainly the bezel.
Haha, i'm under no illusions. I am Captn. Vague and not OCD enough to actually be good at anything. I trained as an electrician when i was 50 and then gave up when i was 53 as i thought it could end up in deaths . Many thanks for the honest assessment, much appreciated. How on earth can you judge the (not a) kirium from the pic ?
I could be wrong, it's not the best pic... and actually the case does come out further from the bezel than I thought. If you would like to take a photo I can take another look. Fake Kiriums are quite unusual but we have seen them here. They just don't have the finesse of the real ones.
That is an absolute beauty . Here y'go.... ( Best i can do i'm afraid - 2 bottles of rose to the wind and not wearing glasses.... ) It was the first one i bought and i do love it
Well, it looks like it might be genuine after all. Sorry about that! Has it got a number on the back WL1111 perhaps?
Ah yes, that was the other number I was pondering, they look pretty similar. I reckon it's probably good then.
Somebody else might know better than me but that sounds like it could be good, and potentially worth some money!
