Welcome Gordini and congrats! It's a great watch this one- don't think of it as "not the greatest ever made"...you should be proud of it! My first TAG Heuer was a quartz 4000 series and I still have it. Maybe it's not that special to anyone else, but it is to me 😉

I'm certainly proud of it. Had some nice glances and comments about it today. My knowledge is minimal at the moment but hope to gain more from you guys.
I must add that the service I received from the Tag boutique in Lakeside Essex was first class and couldn't have been more helpful choosing the watch.
