First Tag - Bent Bracelet Pin While Adjusting

Hi Guys,

I just got my first TAG (WAK2120), and foolishly tried to resize the metal band by myself. In the process I bent one of the link pins to the point where I think it is unusable along with the sleeve that held the pin.

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement pins and the accompanying sleeve? Thanks for the help!

Hi- I would try a local watchmaker first...they should have the parts.

TAG Heuer won't sell you the part by itself, so it is likely to take longer as you'll have to send them the watch

Thank you I guess I will head to my local shop tomorrow. Do you have any idea of how much I should expect to pay? I don't want to get ripped off, (if possible). That's a bummer that TAG Heuer won't just send me a replacement pin, which I'm sure doesn't cost that much.

$20 or nothing depending on the watchmaker usually

Yeah, there's a good logic on why they won't send out parts- with vintage parts it's to stop hoarding, while with newer parts it's to not make life too easy for the replica makers
