I think, I hope, Formula E sustains its energy and following - potential yet unrealized.

Looking forward to a good year!

I'm not a follower of the series, but I saw this article on "André Lotterer, a Belgian-German driver for TAG Heuer's Porsche Formula E team, to discuss not only his passion for motorsport but also his love of watches" and thought I'd share it here. I mean he is wearing a TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche edition CBN2A1F after all, and driving a Porsche race car

He seems like a fine young man, hope things get better soon.

He’s a three time 24H of Le Mans Over-All Winner with Audi, a Super GT & Super Formula Champion for Toyota Lexus TOMS. I hope TAG Heuer x Porsche’s Formula E team can compete for winning championships

I don't follow this series either. But I do enjoy following Jean Eric Vergne, he's often wearing his '90s Monaco 50th LE. :)

The Watchonista article got it wrong, that's not the Carrera x Porsche watch he's wearing in that pic. I believe it's a Connected Carrera Skeleton.

Although they did place a picture of the TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph, they made an error on the next photo

Fascinating watching the developments in Formula E. A couple of years ago, I thought that this could well overtake F1- sure the racing was sub-par, but it was consistent with the focus of all car makers and had the benefit of manufacturer dollars. Now? Audi, BMW and Mercedes all out, with others to follow.

I still think that the ingredients are there for Formula E to succeed- car racing has always been linked to advancements in car technology, but the brutal reality is that quality of racing just isn't there at the moment, and the rules too restrictive.

So what happens from here? Feels like its a fork in the road time as to whether Formula E withers, or takes on board the feedback from the exiting manufacturers and draws up new rules that fit with their strategy
