So apparently the Heuer re-issues are the 'bulk' of TAG Heuer's sales, even though they use the Seiko based H02 movement. Jesus Christ! They might be the ones he likes the best, but clearly they are not mass market products.

Heuer 02 is Seiko based? I thought that was the 1887?

Yes, and technically the Heuer 01 - isn't that a rebranded 1887?

Oh I see, you were quoting this person. Yes, just watched that segment and he gets so much wrong.

Yes, he really thinks the 'limited edition' Heuer re-issues sell more than the Formula 1s and Connected? Idiot.

Federico is a blabbermouth who seemingly knows surprisingly little about watches themselves when you drill under the surface. Too much of his content is about money. I’m amazed he has so many viewers, frankly, but I suppose there’s a certain segment of enthusiasts who lap that kind of stuff up.

Jory Goodman is still 500% worse than Fed, though…now there’s a man who loves the sound of his own voice.

Don’t get me started on Paul ‘Geezer’ Thowwrrrpe….

Grr, now I’m grumpy.

I think like everyone he’s just more knowledgeable about stuff he’s interested in himself. TH is clearly not falling into that category. Hence the nonsense…

I don’t like this guy but if you watched the segment on his opinion about TAG Heuer / “Heuer Re-issues” or Re-editions, he seems quite positive and good about it.

The Heuer 01 / Calibre 1887 movement was not used in the Heuer Heritage watches except if you will consider the JH Carrera 50 Bullhead 1887 as Heuer Heritage. Please correct me if I’m wrong about this.

That's fair, I know next to nothing about other brands... but then I don't talk about other brands.

There is one “Heuer” Calibre 1887 Chronograph that I forgot, after refreshing my notes. It is the Heuer SLR300 Calibre 1887. I’m not sure if this will fall under Heuer Heritage Re-editions though. Sir @Albert-AMG has this if I remember correctly 👍

I would classify the 300SLR as Heritage inspired, but not a Re-edition. It can't be a re-edition, as there is no such original Heuer. LOL

Yup you’re right. I was also pertaining to those modern watches with “Heuer” only logo as part of Heuer Heritage.

You are right Sir @kappa_md 😉 👍

The TAG Heuer 300 SLR Calibre 1887 (CAR2112.FC6267), based on the 2010 Carrera Calibre 1887

I love it, it's very linked to Mercedes-Benz, and it has my favorite caseback, so it had to be in my small collection 😀
