Favourite watch box (and request)

I have been talking with the lovely folks at TH head office throughout the process of their building the tourbillon Carrera I won in the COVID solidarity auction.

Today they asked if I had any input on the box (colours, materials, textures).

Leads me to:
1. Suggestions?
2. what’s your favourite box you got a watch in? I think mine is tied between my Kingsman Connected and the oil rag my Omega Speedmaster 300M 007 came in -

TH Junkie is big into boxes, mine all live on top of the wardrobe.

It's a big wardrobe.

Smaller the better for me, otherwise they take up too much space. I really like the box that came with my reissue Carrera (not my pic). I like the way the rally holes match the strap.

The box of the TH Connected Modular 45 Kingsman Special Edition is also the favourite of my watch boxes... the orange alcantara interior is great! 👍

I don't have any good ideas for your Tourbillon Carrera that you won. But it should have a special box, maybe something with racing carbon fiber design.

My favorite TAG Heuer box is the wooden one used for the LE Monacos of the early 2010's.

I think Omega has the coolest boxes. But I much prefer the 007 Spectre box over the No Time to Die watch roll. I only own one Omega, a Speedmaster FOIS, which came in a very nice box .

The Omega NTTD watch roll wasn't great IMO. Did not like much about that whole package.

I think this @Snowy ’s TH Connected Modular 45 Luxury Kit box is really the ultimate watch box 😉

Luxury kit box is very big and heavy. It weighs more than 20kg and can’t be easily taken home from the store. It's a gorgeous box, but many people may not like it.

I recommend this red box from Monaco Grand Prix Historique. The box is an homage to the heritage.

Agree with Snowy, worth getting that Monaco just to get the box 😝

Have to say also I find it very cool that Tag is asking you about input for a custom box for this watch, what a dream like experience 👍

I love that box too (don't own one, wish I did). 🥰
Which gives me a chance to re-post my favorite home made box. LOL. 😜

But I wouldn't recommend this style for @T1bbs 's special Covid Carrera, it needs a more modern box, rather than vintage inspired - IMHO.

I don’t much care for the individual watch boxes. Though it is all part of the buying experience and initial enjoyment. All mine are tucked away in a storage box.

Favs were the the Tag Heuer Grand Carrera (arguably the best TH box I’ve received - nice hefty Woden box - great finish) or the box that came with the Omega GSOTM (same as the DSOTM box as far as I know). 2nd ranking in TH Box pecking order was the Monza - with the red pillow. Nice touch. The newer boxes with the 160/Montreal were a bit underwhelming. But frankly I’d rather have the watch in a ziplock and all then ‘papers’ and gumph electronic as I just store them away anyway.

for daily use I have a pair of Rapport Heritage 10 slot boxes. One each for Tag and Omega collection. Custom TH box project is on hold as I spent the money putting deposit down on next purchase.

kingsman and the konnected boxes above look good. As for a suggestion - maybe ask them for the winder box? Is there a spacial box that comes with the Tourbilon models?

That is a stunning box. Was wondering if a red box would work (the watch is basically black with hints of red and green).

I remember this one by TH from a decade ago.
That’s up there with the Globe-trotter 007 watch case. Maybe they’ll throw in a phone too 😉 I totally would have bought this if I had the money back in the day (always had a thing for phones as well).

Overall the package was underwhelming, but I hate waste and at least a watch roll will get use. I think I may put my Belstaff roll over the Omega one for usefulness though (can fit two watches plus tools). Speaking of rolls - been thinking about getting the Carbon fibre one from Bamford

Yes, but the NTTD roll only fits one watch - what good is that? If you ask me, the original Speedy Tuesday package was better - fairly compact watch roll, but came with the tools for strap changes etc in a well-organized design.

May I humbly suggest an exclusive Calibre11 Collectors Watchbox in the horizon? @Calibre11 , @Hubert , @Aquagraph 👍 What do you think about it guys? I’d be the first one to sign up and grab one 😁😁
