Can't believe I'm asking this on a forum dedicated to a single brand, but there we are. I don't think TAG will come out on top, I'm just hoping they can reach third behind Tudor and Omega. Top three then, cos none of you will be able to give me a straight answer...

Actually B &R was hasty. I would buy an Alpine Eagle before any Bell and Ross, so I have to say Chopard, I guess, even though that's the only watch of theirs I like. Its beautiful, and I must admit handling that showed me what a quality product really feels like.

in reality, there’s not a lot between them. I just don’t own any from number 3 at present. Certainly as omega’s pricing goes stratospheric, I can see them slipping to 3 as, for me, the watches are becoming unobtainable on a regular basis.

Similar to what Albert said, it’s the connection to motor racing that drew me in and has never let go.

 

Seiko, Tag (mainly the Monaco), Omega.

 

Same for me. Except I was first drawn into motor racing in the '70s during the Lauda/Hunt era. Seeing Heuer on the Ferrari F1 cars is what brought me to watches. So Heuer/TAG Heuer will always be my number 1.

After that, I just love watches in general so my favorites can change depending on what's being released. Currently, Tudor has the most interesting releases for me, followed by Omega, Breitling and Zenith.

Based on the number of watches that I own of a given make, I'll order them in tiers:
Tier 1: Heuer/TAG Heuer
Tier 2: Omega, Rolex, Breitling
Tier 3: Tudor, Zenith, Porsche Design, Seiko, Casio, Nezumi Studios

 

Hmm tough one really.

I like watches from a lot of different brands, & hate some models that brands have.

1) Tudor - I like their designs, and their freedom from that of Rolex.
2) Tag - designs are generally different from the norm, although not a fan of motorsport so don’t hold any great pull to the history.
3) Panerai - was heavily in to the brand, love their distinctive look, but feel they’re now going in the wrong direction, less watch for more money.

Honourable mentions to Moser - out of my price range but generally seem to like doing a big FU to the industry.

A. Lange also, money no option I’d own a Lange 1. For me they are top of all the marquees.

Oris & Nomos also high, Oris for being independent in this day an age. Nomos for keeping a strict design ethos, all in house & great RRP.

TAG Heuer first. Those watches paved the way into the watchuniverse for me.

Tag/Heuer this past year has really become my favorite brand. I find it’s history and heritage really speaks to me. The dream of buying a Rolex is what brought me into this hobby but I feel my Tag Heuer watches fit “me” and my lifestyle/personality.

 

This is a properly hard question to answer and, the reality is, favourites would be fluid.

Overall, I reckon my number 1 is JLC.

2 is probably TAG Heuer (not Heuer, there really aren't many Heuers of old that float my boat) but TAG Heuer's current design direction is fairly ordinary so I am currently turned off from the brand.

3 is perhaps GO, G-Shock, IWC, Chopard.

I can't really call it and any one of the brands in third could easily knock TAG Heuer out of second.
