F1 watch spotting.

Watch the F1 coverage a bit, quali and pre/post race banter mostly, drivers and commentators abound, I see a lot of watches out there, got to be some stunners, sure my tv has a zoom function but that’s beyond me, more money out there than a premier league football team night out.?

Yes sure a lot of nice pieces but my guess is that most of it is product placement. Alfa and McLaren all full of Richard Mille, Renault garage full of B&R, Red bull full of Tags, Ferrari garage full of Hublots and so on.

But maybe you meant other people like audience and those awkward tv shots of "look at this random celebrity visiting this team"?

Oh and by the way. I am a total sucker for their marketing skills. Horner rocking the Autavia most of the 2018 season makes that watch so much cooler to me

In 2008 Sebastian Vettel became a TAGHeuer Brand Ambassador. I don't know for how long.
At that time a lot of brand ambassadors appeared at TAGHeuer and then disappeared again.

According to some articles, Vettel was wearing a TAG Heuer Golf watch in his first F1 Grand Prix victory in Monza for Torro Rosso in 2008. He was also seen wearing a TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph 😉 This is probably during his Torro Rosso days. And he probably changed his watch endorsement when he moved to Red Bull. 😗
