Hi every body, I'm new in the forum. I'm from Mexico and I want to buy my 3rd TH, but I have some doubts that Im sure I can resolve here with you guys. I want to buy a used Formula INDY 500 for 1000 USD with serial WAU1117 but I cant find on internet (even the catalogues in this page) the year of the piece, Is some body how to know the year? Unfortunately the watch which I going to buy hasn't box so I want to be sure the authenticity; so suggestions are welcome.
The catalogues don't show all models. I'm going to hazard a guess that this dates to around 2012, though. Assuming the photo above shows the actual watch you're buying, I'm sure it's real.
It's a good question, because I haven't seen this variation before. But, with little digging here is an official image from TAG Heuer from 2013 that matches the reference number..so, yes, it's an official model, but it's not in the Catalogue
100% real, that's the Indy 500 grand date watch, it got launched just as they changed CEO then got discontinued.
