I have what I think is a model1500. A watchmaker friend made it for me from spare parts. It has run great for 20+ years with only the occasional battery replacement. Thinking of sending it off for maintenance: - Needs the hands and indices re-lumed. - Bezel at zero needs the triangle indicator black enamel replaced and the illuminated dot restored. I am puzzled by the dial face in that it has an arabic “12” and 30, 45, and 60 minute numbers printed just inside the bezel. Is this a model 1500 with a 2000 dial face? Is it a good idea to send it to Tag or should I find a local watchmaker? My friend who assembled it has retired. Thanks!
Well... actually... they might. If it has the original movement then they might quote for a new dial if they have spare dials?
