So this is another result of the confination: the new TAG Heuer Carrera Connected Heuer 02 2020, in 8 different real combinations that you can make with the TH Connected 2020 app configurator.

Everything started with a face by @connected1976 , then a french friend (also member here) did many changes to it, and finally I made some more changes to have this 8in1 Heuer 02... so another nice example of teamwork! 馃榾

This is one the original faces:

I just purchased the Gen3 and I'm struggling with the WatchMaker faces. I've downloaded a bunch from this site and the second hand seems to be screwy. For instance, I installed the Calibre Senna 16. The long second hand always starts at 60 and then moves to a fixed point. It never moves across the dial as it should. The small one in the semi-circle on the left will move (so it's tracking the seconds) so long as it hasn't hit standby mode (I understand why seconds wouldn't track once in standby to conserve battery). But the larger second hand issue is perplexing. Any ideas what's happening?

This is awesome, but as described above, the seconds hand doesn't work. It works fine with the official TH face. Any idea what's going wrong?

Long seconds hand in the original Calibre 16 watch is the stopwatch seconds hand, so it must be always at 60 unless you start the stopwatch (tap at 10 to start/stop SW, and tap at 2 to resert). In dimmed mode this long seconds hand shows watch battery level (that is the fixed point you were talking about)

Left subdial is time seconds hand, and it stops at 60 when dimmed in order to save battery. There鈥檚 nothing wrong, it鈥檚 designed that way.
We are told that live Always On Display from Gen3 doesn鈥檛 work with WatchMaker, so Gen2 and Gen3 are the same when using WatchMaker faces

Same explanation: long seconds hand in the original Carrera Heuer 02 is the stopwatch seconds hand, so it must be at 60/0 unless you start the stopwatch (tap right subdial to start/stop the stopwatch, and double tap it to reset stopwatch). And in dimmed mode the long seconds hand shows watch battery level

In this 8in1 face the stopwatch also works as in the original watch, so time seconds hand is in the lower subdial.

The new factory installed Heuer 02 face in Gen3, and also available for Gen2 Modular after last update, doesn鈥檛 have a working stopwatch, so the long seconds hand doesn鈥檛 have there the same function as in the real watch. In the official face the long seconds hand is working as a time seconds hand, which is weird...but this 8in1 face works like the real watch, and of course it has a much better dimmed mode (fully detailed and coloured) than the factory installed Heuer 02 face

These pictures show where the second hand is stuck on active mode
@riseagainst , just to check if live Always On Display mode from Gen3 is working with WatchMaker, you could test this face. I removed the watch battery level on dimmed mode, so time seconds hand is always running now

Please tell us if with your Gen3 the seconds hand of this face is still running when dimmed. Thanks!
Yes, it works exactly as you describe. Thanks for the explanation!

How could I modify that to make that long hand work as the seconds hand? I've replaced the small dial with steps, temperature, etc. It would be cool to have that hand work for seconds instead of stopwatch.

Ok, so do you confirm that with Gen3 in dimmed mode, the seconds hand of this Aquaracer is stopped, and it only runs in bright mode?

A Admir
In aod mode it's not running smoothly but jumps by 5 second or 10 second
Which Gen do you have? 1, 2, or 3?
