Please delete if I am not supposed to ask question here......

On E2 , most of these face can't last for 5 hrs (3 sec alive)
At 1st I thought the battery is dying but then vs the Tag stock one can easily run for 20+ Hr on similar always on/ gestures/ WiFi etc etc

Am I the only one or........👎

( This is the purple Monaco for example)

Starting from this digital watchface customized by @Cavs 👍, I made some slight changes:
- removed dark dim mode
- removed some options to help the battery
- made the digital screen background brighter, to make it easier to read in dim mode
- made the ucolor outer ring and horizontal stripes thicker (it works better that way in the new dim mode)
- added watch % battery level in dim mode
and some other minor change

Pictures in dim mode, AOD on, Automatic bright on

Cavs gave me permission to publish it unlocked.
We hope MS respects the work of previous authors 😉:

If I understand correctly your gen 2 battery lasts 20 hours? if so, it is normal, I think that the gen 2 last more or less those hours

20 + Hr for stock face , but < 5 for watch maker ones, like the purple Monaco ( see the battery graph) on similar always on/ gestures/ WiFi / 15 % max brightness on dim mode / 3 sec awake time

certainly it is very little time with watchmaker... the monaco purple face does not have a very high consumption either...

could you try to reset the factory clock and calibrate the battery

After last WatchMaker app updates, my E2s are also consuming more battery than usual when using WatchMaker faces, but it’s fine -as always- when wearing the factory installed faces. The difference is not so big as in your case (around 20h or some more hours with official faces, and around 12-13h with WatchMaker faces with low consumption) but I also noticed this quite higher consumption with WatchMaker recently… 😒… I hope they fix it in future updates!

Merci Philippe, so far I haven't needed to disable the 'Tilt to wake' option for the battery to last me a normal day, but with the current high consumption of the WatchMaker app, I may have to…

Anyway, I hope it's something temporary and that the WatchMaker developers solve the increased battery consumption that their app recently has!

Yes, it is clear that 'Tilt to wake' consumes battery, but I have always had it connected on my E2 Modular 45 without it being a problem with the battery.

The point is that, with equal settings, WatchMaker now consumes considerably more battery than it did a few months ago. Watch faces that used to last 18 hours (with 'Tilt to wake' connected) now last 12 hours... while with the official faces the battery lasts the same as always (more than 20 hours). So I deduce that the problem of the lower battery life is with WatchMaker (not with the watch battery) after its latest updates. I hope they find it and fix it.
