I am also new to the forum and have absolutely had a blast going through all the different faces I can put on my watch. My watch has never looked so good! I have now caught up with the most recent page and have very narrowly missed having a divorce due to the time I have spent scrolling through this thread. Can we draw a line under all of this and just get back to enjoying this thread for it's intended purpose. I'm pretty sure everyone on here knows the rules now regarding what you can and cant post. Great for and great thread keep it up guys

I have mentioned it before, i'm a huge Tag fan but do not have the money for it to buy one. So with all the great watch faces you guys create i can still enjoy the Tag faces on my Samsung Watch 3. I really appreciate it.

Because my watch does have a minute bezel i sometimes prefer to zoom in so that it fits my watch perfectly. Some faces already have a zoom function, so i change the zoom factor in the included script. The attached photos show what it looks like when i changed the zoom factor.

But i do have a lot of faces without a zoom option. How easy or hard is it to add a zoom option into the face?

Yes, you have an additional ring vs the TH Connected, which only has the minutes bezel.

Adding a zoom factor to a watchface is not difficult, it just takes more or less time depending on how many layers has the face.

First of all you have to write “tweens.scale=1” or “tweens.zoom=1”, or “var_scale=1” on the script of the face. Once you have modified all layers, you can come back to the script and increase that “1” in order to zoom the face

Then, you have to multiply that formula in every position and size dimensions for each layer. It’s practical to copy “*tweens.zoom” (in this case) and paste it to each dimension:

For texts and markers, you get best results if you multiply the Anim Scale X and Anim Scale Y instead of text size or markers radius. So for these kinds of layers you multiply just the position and the Anim Scales (in this other example the tweens.scale formula was used, but all works the same):

Thank you @Albert-AMG for this tutorial. I'm gonna give it a try.

fzoom=1
tzoom=1.20
tweens.zoom = fzoom

function zoom()
if tweens.zoom == tzoom then
wm_schedule { action='tween', tween='zoom', from=tzoom,to=fzoom,duration=2 , easing=inOutQuad }
else
wm_schedule { action='tween', tween='zoom', from=fzoom, to=tzoom ,duration=1 , easing=inOutQuad }
end
end

Just touch the logo (layer) you want to change of position until it starts to “dance”.

Touch it again until you can either “duplicate” or move it to the left or right, and then put the layer in the desired order

Saludos!
