Yes, but the software version is newer and the security patch is February 2020.
Your Gen 2 will stop receiving updates soon. 😜

C est nouveau peuta être des mises a jour WM pourtant les fichiers de WM sont en 64 bits et ça depuis quelques versions mises a jour ( je sais plus laquelle l) lol notamment pour économiser la batterie avant c était en 32 bits je sais parce que je suis un beta testeur ( donc j ai toujours les dernières mises a jour ) a mes risques et périls lol

I posted a video from my Gen2 Modular 45 wearing this face and scrolling the different screens at normal speed. So it would be interesting to know if this is a problem just from B738’s Gen3, or from all Gen3 👍

Gen1 is still receiving updates after 5 years, so I don’t think so! 😉

What software is newer? Out of curiosity, could you please post a picture of the System/Information/Versions screen like this, to compare versions?

Not native or original, but this WM face is the most similar that I know. It’s also running without problems in Gen2 Modular 45:

Yes I saw you video testing the calibre 16 on your watch and yes it performed better than mine.

However I've tried this connected one you just posted and can confirm this works smoother than the previous one.

It's correct, it runs slower with that face.
With the rest of WatchMaker faces it runs smoothly, but not with that one.

Now @B738 knows that this is not a problem from his Gen3... but from all Gen3

This is strange, because this face is not particularly hard for the watch. There are other WatchMaker faces much harder to run!

So it seems that, in real life, Gen3 new combination of chip and memory is actually less powerful than in previous generations 😝 😉
Because otherwise, how do you explain why Gen3 has a harder time getting this face to work than Gen2 M45? 😕

Just to verify we are on same WM app version, mine is 5.8.1 (2558102)

OK, so other than a five months newer security patch for Gen3, everythink looks the same at the moment with Gen2... unless this “MR1” has some meaning

Your conclusion is wrong because you forget the most important thing: WatchMaker still doesn't support the Gen 3.

I'm using the app selecting Modular 45, which is a completely different watch.
Until WatchMaker releases an update supporting the Gen 3, any comparison doesn't make sense.

Ok, this could be the explanation... but it’s strange, because I’m on iOS, and I have not this long selecting list: just Apple Watch or Other Watch...

so there’s no way to select any of the three different Gens if you are on iOS, and this makes me think about if there’s really any difference with the app depending on each Gen, because from iOS you can’t select it, so it seems that the app works the same for any Wear OS watch

If you press on “List Supported Watches”, it opens the website and it just says “TAG Heuer Connected”, but not the different Gens

So let’s wait for a WM app update, to see if Gen3 improves 👍

No, in each update WatchMaker supports new watches, at least for Android.
And the latest version is dated February 27th, before the Gen 3 was released.
